We're flying from Lukla to the capital of Nepa, Kathmandu (pr. katmanDOO), today. I've said it before, I'll said it again: the scenery is breathtaking! Mountain peak after peak like rolling waters on muddy plains...
I'd
have thought that there's no way to find a landing spot amidst the never
ending expanse of mountains. Kathmandu is a relatively small piece of
flatland in the middle of it all. The picture above shows that flatland...
