We've been travelling across the islands of Indonesia, and now we're going
back to my hometown, Singapore!

We take off
from Jakarta's airport...

...then head
north. The grey area north of the airport is Jakarta.

Lots of puffy
cumulus clouds today...

These are
rivers near Palembang, Sumatra.

On the right
of the airplane is the island of Bangka.

After leaving
Sumatra, we travel for a while across the South China Sea, eventually
reaching a group of islands called the Riau Linga islands.

We're almost
at Singapore, but before that, we reach the islands...

...of Bintan
(the larger island at the top of the screen)...

and Batam,
just 20 miles southeast of Singapore. Looks like there's a thunderstorm
ahead, I just saw a huge display of lightning right ahead.

We're landing
at runway 20, so we're heading a bit up the Malaysian east coast, then
turning left...

...and landing
at Changi. What a downpour, with a tricky crosswind...
