I've decided that we'll change our plan to East Timor instead. East Timor's is the world's newest democracy, so I guess it'll be interesting to have a look. We'll go north east to have a stopover at Darwin first. Darwin was the first place (I think) that the Japanese bombed during World War II. This route is going to be a long one across a vast expanse of...well...nothing.


The sky was clear when we started...


...then clouds began to form...beautiful scenery...


The sun is setting, and as we're at 31,000ft, the weather's quite good. But I'm seeing overcast and cloudy conditions nearer to the ground.


We'll take a left turn later to land on runway 29.


Nice runway lights, a little stuttering due to the clouding weather taxing the processor, but we landed quite well. Time to take a break before moving on to the next leg, East Timor...
