Leg 38: OKBK (Kuwait Intl, Kuwait) to OBBI (Bahrain Intl, Bahrain)

I've been looking at the Encarta maps to see the next leg we're travelling to, and very nearly miss the country of Bahrain. In the 'political view' of the atlas, a small area of a different colour stands out, but only after I look carefully. I've always thought that Bahrain is a city of Saudi Arabia. Apparently it's not. It's a small country about the size of Singapore.

A Gulf Air aircraft at the gates. An interesting thing I read about Gulf Air is that it's the national carrier of Bahrain, UAE, and Oman. We'll be going to the latter two countries in our next legs.
