Armenia, I think Gary Kasparov was born here. Turns out it's not him but his mother. Kaspavor was born in Baku; we went there two legs ago.

Taking off from Georgia, turning 180 degrees, overlooking the airport at the top of the picture. The nearer runway belongs to another airport.

Today's trip is quite short, we'll be flying over mountainous terrain, with Lake Sevan on the left.

Landing at Armenia. The mountain seems to be the same one seen in the second picture. It looks like Mt. Ararat at 5137m.
