After one day of walking around Rottness Island, we're ready to go for our next longer distance leg. Since I'm planning to go up to Indonesia next, we'll need to go as far north as possible so that we don't run out of fuel later. The Encarta atlas shows there's a place called Shark Bay and I thought that was an attractive name; so we'll be going there next. (Nemo says, "I'm shark bait!")

Leaving Rottness Island behind, with the Swan River at the left of the screen...

I'm flying the established jet routes so if you have travelled from Asia, maybe say Singapore to Perth, this is almost exactly the view you'll see from the aircraft window (backwards, of course).

The sun is setting...

... and I was just browsing the GPS when it hit me. Shark Bay airstrip has NO LIGHTS! How am I going to land with no lights?!

This maneuveur will probably break all the rules in real life, luckily I landed well... As it turns out, Shark Bay is totally deserted as well, and there's a new problem too. On to the next leg...
